Unrefined shea butter may just be a miracle. It moisturizes and heals skin like nobody's business. We put it in almost all of our skin care products, we love it so much-- but here it is, plain & simple, to be used anywhere that needs some softening and healing.

You probably already know this, so skip ahead, but shea butter comes from the nut of the African Karite tree. The nuts are gathered by village women, and they process them into the butter and ship it to us.

The only addition we make is some essential oil --unrefined shea is slightly smoky in scent, & not everyone loves this, so we try to sweeten it a bit.
